Join our team of enthusiastic volunteers, sharing and preserving
the story of cider for future generations.
Current roles…
We have a range of opportunities for volunteers available at the museum, and are in the process of expanding and developing new roles. All required training will be provided by the museum, so you don’t need any prior experience, only a readiness to get stuck in and an enthusiasm for connecting people with the rich history of cider, an important local industry both historically and to this day.
Front of House Volunteer
Our front of house volunteers help share the history of cider and cider makers, creating memorable experiences for visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and prior knowledge. The front of house team are the first point of contact at the museum for visitors, both in person and on the phone, and are essential in creating a welcoming environment as representatives of the museum.
We are currently looking for support on Saturdays 11.30am-2.30pm and Sundays 11.30am-2.30pm. We aim to make shift times as flexible as possible and can offer amendments where required.
The days advertised are preferred, however, if you are available on other days and would like to volunteer with us, we are happy to accommodate where possible. Please apply and let us know your availability in the application form.
Please note, this volunteer role is suitable for those aged 18 and over.
