King Offa Distillery Cider Brandy

Between 1984 and 1994 cider brandy was distilled in the King Offa distillery at the Museum of cider. The distillery being the first to recieve a liscence to distil cider brandy in 100 years. Although the distillery has ceased production a limited amount of cider brandy is still available for sale.

King Offa Cider Brandy is a rare 30 year old English cider brandy with deep roots in Herefordshire’s cider-making heritage. Distilled in the 1980s at the pioneering King Offa Distillery this exceptional spirit was patiently matured in oak and preserved by the Museum of Cider. Carefully bottled by Ludlow Distillery at 42% ABV, it delivers notes of baked apple, gentle spice and soft oak, with a long, warming finish.

Released in small batches and available in 50cl and 20cl, this is a limited, historic English cider brandy made to be savoured.

You can support the museum by purchasing a bottle from the on site shop in Hereford, or, if you live further afield, you can order the cider brandy online through the Ludlow distillery website.
